Web Browser Encryption

Web browsers use encryption to communicate securely over the Internet. You must have a browser with 128-bit encryption to use Africa Enterprise Fund Ltd. (AEFL) online. All browsers supported by Africa Enterprise Fund Ltd. (AEFL) offer 128-bit encryption.

Encryption is currently the most effective way to securely transmit data over the Internet. Session Timeout

We:

  • Allocate responsibility within each jurisdiction for ensuring compliance with the jurisdiction's procedures for money laundering to the relevant Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
  • Comply with the requirements of legislation and appropriate guidelines in the jurisdictions in which we operate.
  • Provide initial and annual training and education programs to ensure all staff are aware of their personal responsibilities and the procedures to be adhered to. Individual confirmations of receiving such training are retained in each jurisdiction.
  • Take reasonable measures to establish the identity of all persons for whom Africa Fund may or may not provide services to.
  • Retain identification documentation and transactional documentation as defined within local legislation for the requisite time period.
  • Report to the relevant authority where there are reasonable grounds to suspect that a money laundering offence has been or is being committed.
